I have been an MT since being an MT was very uncool. We learned in
the hospital, under a doctor's supervision. We used typewriters and whiteout
with carbon paper...BLAH! Now it is really cool to be an MT. There are so many
more advantages to it now. You can work from home, network, commute, or whatever
you want to do. I know the training is harder now, but it is worth it for the
benefits and flexibility.
I have 2 children, 13 and 10. They are the joy of my life. I homeschool them so they can be here with me always. Sometimes that's great, sometimes that's stressful...but with being an MT, I can do my job and care for my family. We all benefit.
I have a small farm, about 40 acres, way out in the boonies. I've had chickens, rabbits, cats, dogs, and many other critters running around out here. As the people in the ville have been told... I am a true Elle Mae Clampett...and not a Granny as some have said...HEE HEE...you know who you are!
I love the ville. You no longer have to work at home and feel alone. You can have coworkers, friends, and resources, all in one place. They are a very good group of people to hang with, though they can be a little distracting, throwing water balloons at you and droping things on your head, but it is all in good fun. I love them all!
