2005:
I am an MT student at Career Step. In my previous life I was an RN,
and a CNM. I've worked Newborn Nursery, L&D, and Postpartum, taught childbirth
education, and worked as a midwife (delivered ~500 babies) and as a lactation
consultant. I've been out of work for the last 4 years due to ?CFS/fibromyalgia.
Maybe I had/have it, maybe I don't. Just learned a few months ago that I have
Graves disease and that may have been my problem all along. Time will tell.
I've just recently discovered MT and think that it is my dream come true. A
language I already speak, but I can work from home and avoid the huge stress
of working as a nurse. I am excited to have discovered CS and especially MTville.
I am a single mom of a beautiful 11-year-old, soon to be 12-year-old, daughter.
She is the love of my life. We have one very big dog, Chance, and 8 cats. And
did I mention that my daughter is beautiful? She is blonde with blue eyes. She
is in ballet and has a 2nd degree black belt in karate. I am so happy to be
here and thrilled with the warm welcome I have received from the other inhabitants
of MTville.
